Cigarrette Lighter wont work

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I checked the fuse and there is only one that controls the radio, clock and lights on radio and cig lighter
all together but the fuse is fine. The cig lighter usually has a lit up red ring around it when working, but
no light. How to I fix this?

The cigarette lighter sockets wear out from the heat. You can check for power with a meter on the center electrode. If you have power incoming, you'll need a new socket.

I would check ground wire on back of lighter.
