Gas leak

It smells like gas is leaking from the front on the
driver's side. It doesn't do it all the time is it a gas
leak under the hood or under my car ?

Best way to check is when you smell gas go home and lift your car and LOOK for leaks or wet spots. When u see a wet spot or leak take a sniff and follow where that leak is coming from.
