I just got an oil change on my 2006
Mitsubishi Galant and my car just did a
strange loud jerk twice and now my
Service Engine Soon light is on. Is it
serious?

If check engine light are on do not reset it. Have someone check the car OBD then wrote down the code. This is your best bet to know what is wrong with your car before fixing it.
