ford acts up wants to die when i press the gas

I have a1993 ford E-150 it just started doing this I
was almost out of gas so I was going an it kept
wanting to die on me even when I go gas so can
anyone help so????

Often when you run it very low on gas it burns up the fuel pump. The gas is the coolant. Suggest you check the fuel pressure... is it the 5.0L?

If you ran it out or so low that the fuel pump was sucking air the fuel pump may be going bad. You will first need to know what the fuel pressure is to say it is or isn't the fuel pump.

That we were Guy. But at least we agree. Pressure should be 35psi +/-5
