2000 dodge ram 1500 4x4 not getting fire changed distributor cap, coil, pickup ignition, rotor, plugs, plug wires

transmission stopped working about a year ago and it was running fine it sit for about a year and the battery ran down now it won't fire

Are you sure it's not getting fire? Or could it be bad gas causing it not to crank?

I put fresh gas in it because someone syphoned out what little bit it had in it. Also the gas gauge is not working now.
