"Check gauge" light is on

Thank you for responding, thay was my fear, for it to blow, I have been having alot of hard start problems, sometimes when I turn it over it shuts down like the battery died and then starts up. Radio stations have to be reprogrammed etc. Crap, looks like more money into this old truck. Thank you again !!!!

I tried startup and it did: start up,so I,check. My fuse pump and it was it job,,,so I, check. Al fuse,s they was good, I,check the car see if it was get fire it was good, ,my question now is my timing chain. Is the problem.? ???? Please. Tell., what sure. I ,do.? ? This is a 06 Nissan Altima. Hi jim, well I checked everything, nothing looked loose or frayed, I wiggled some wires and tightened the battery cables, so far so good, gauge light has not come on again. Could it be the weather? It has reached freezing Temps when all this started. Really trying to avoid the mechanic.
