AC blowing warm air and car running rough on and off

Asked by kathina Jul 31, 2021 at 01:13 PM about the 2007 Toyota Camry

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 Toyota camry just had a new alternator and
battery put in. When I got it back the car was stalling.
Watched a YouTube video.  Turn car on but don't start it,
turn off, turn car on but don't start it, turn car off, start car
and put emergency brake on. Put in drive for several
minutes.  Not stalling anymore.  But the AC only blows
cold air first few minutes after starting car then just blows
warm air. The compressor is working and fan is on. I don't
need freon either. Today I drove it on the parkway without
AC on at all and it is running rough on and off. I can feel it.
Any thoughts? I cannot afford a mechanic

You say the compressor is working...How do you know..? You may have the compressor with internal Variable preassure,,,uses a control valve that's separately replaceable...and mounted in the compressor...Google it..
