The turn signal shaft broke off inside the steering column, how to I get to it and/or get it out

The 57 should be fairly easy. Remove the steering wheel and carefully lift the turn signal assembly off the shaft. You will need to find another assembly as I don't think it can be rebuilt.

After removal drill small hole in shaft & use a easyout to remove broken shaft.

The shaft is approximately 0.20" dia! I don't know of any easyout that can do that job. Even if you remove the broken shaft, you will probably need to buy the complete assembly (If you can even find one!).
