77 F150 truck was drving on fwy and noticed a small noise in vent then my fuel gauge had gone down below the white line ?

was drving on fwy and noticed a small noise in vent by the main front window and  then my fuel gauge had gone down below the white line and car stalled.. why was I loosing fuel and my clear glass where theres is gas by the carburetor is empty.. what happen and what do i need to fix??

Sounds like maybe your fuel pump went out. Do you have two tanks? Maybe the sound you heard was a fuse blowing? Begin checking the obvious first.

I heard a sound thinking it was my ac vent ..It was me that changed the fuel to main - i cut off my own fuel..now I know my fuel option is by the ac unit.
