Turn signal wiring

What is the color code for the turn signal switch on a 1977 Ford F150. the new switch I have is 10 wire and the old one is 9 wire and the colors differ

I was hoping I could turn this info up for you on the net henryearl but no luck. Take a trip down to your local library where you'll probably find the Chilton's manual for your F150. All will be revealed in there and for free! Good luck!

The ten wire is for cruise control, and that wire should be blue with a black stripe. You just wont use that wire. Otherwise the wires should be the same or at least close in color. Hope that helps.
