Where does my starter ignition wire go and is it a relay on it

where does the ignition switch  wire go from
starter to firewall. I turn the key switch no type of
crank. I jumper it to the other main battery bolt get
crank. so I know its not a bad solenoid.

Here's a wiring diagram for your starting circuit. There's no external relay involved. Just the battery, ignition switch, and the starter. Hope that helps! Jim
