Cassete adapter stuck

I have a cassette stuck in my 89 Camry and I don't know why it won't comes
out. the eject button doesn't work only makes a weird tiny buzzing sound for a
second. When I try to use pliers on it feels there is something stuck on the
back any idea how to take this out.
