How much pounds to torque down head

You will need to look that up by the exact model engine. I suggest a repair manual which will have the torque number and the sequence.

Be sure to understand which it does say, inch or foot pounds as these are different and use the correct wrench.

Be sure and torque the head in steps. Usually you start around 30 and go up in 5 pound increments, The last few steps can be less than 5 pounds,
