"changing the rims nd tyres wud help" Umm... ABS is a separate system and your wheels and tires aren't what give you ABS... For some reason I thought most modern Toyotas came with ABS standard. ABS tech is generally expensive and stock systems aren't always available from anywhere but the dealer. I'm not sure if/what parts of the system are in place on vehicle non-ABS equipped so I can't give specific information, but generally speaking it'll be cheaper to trade for an equivalent model with ABS than to install it if it's not already there. I'd recommend you ask your dealer and/or a trusted mechanic to get and idea on pricing.

thanx Adam, but in order to buy a new car with instaled ABS is not the one dat is inexpensive, my car is in pakistan, nd believe me cars there r extremely expensive, cz only corolla altis comes with installed ABS, nd dat wud cost me abt 2500 GB pounds more (cost of my this corolla is abt 8000 pounds), where as either rim nd tyres or the ABS r my only options, either one wud cost about 400 GB pounds. Well im also thinkin abt rim nd tyres, cz they also increase the grip of the car. cz main issue is dat this model of corolla does not have any road gripping. nd yea its an gud idea to visit both my mechanic nd the dealer. i really appreciate ur time. cheers

In addition to the ABS module you will need new axles(abs), ABS sensor(s) frt&rear.most likely a new brake master cylinder, and possibly new wheels and tyres to make it all work. Not to mention your p.c.m.(power control module would have to be reprogramed or replaced!
