You really don't give much information, but I can tell you that you need to know the backspacing, width, & tire size before coming to a conclusion. Typically you won't want to go over 7"-8" wide on the rim depending on backspace. 4wds need about 6" BS & 2wds like 3.75"-4.5". Tire size is dependent on wheel width, wheel offset, & ride height. Are you stock 2wd, stock 4wd, lowered, or lifted? I need more info to answer this question.

they will fit but could cause a wheel alignment problem later on & also uneven tire wear.

16 in wheels are fine. Stay the same overal diameter be haveing a smaller sidewall tire to keep the spedo acurate. Also try not to go wider than 255's if yours is a 2wd. I had some and they rubbed at close to full lock. You can have a bigger size tire but then you run the risk of rubbing and the spedo will be wrong

I have a 2000 Chevy S10 2WD that I want to put 20" 5 lug fustom wheels. When I go to put them on it appears that it will bolt up but something is stopping it arrom mounting to the hub. What do I need to properly make this work?

To make this work get the correct size wheels and leave the 20's to the nimrods in the ghetto.

Thank You for your response. I know that this can and will work. I am just making sure that everything will mount properly when assembling the 20's to my 2000 Chevy S10. Any helpful answers are appreciated.

Put spacers on it until the wheels stick out from your wheel wells several inches. If you are going for this type of look go whole hog and get big spacers ;)

Seriously. If the wheels are hitting the suspension don't use them!!!! Be safe and smart and use properly sized wheels.

they are likely contacting the brake calipers. you may be able to use a 1/16" or 1/8" spacer between the wheel and hub to allow everything to clear. wouldnt go any thicker than 1/8" without changing to longer wheel studs.

Tabatha. Make sure they are hub centric wheel spacers. I had 1” spacers before just get new studs and don’t go cheep on the spacers. Try to get a good idea on how thick you need them compared to the rims offset, the spacers will correct the problem as long as they are installed correctly with red lock tight and they are “hub centric “
