I have a 2001 Chevy s10 2.2 liter my oil pressure has all of a sudden gon way up to 70 when I start it and goes down to 40 at idle after about an hour of driving but goes right up to 60. Taps at start

Well you always want to verify oil pressure with a mechanical gauge to know if there is a problem or not. Or just start by replacing the oil pressure sending unit.
