Hello fourxfour--  There are many ways to improve the pickup on your 1989 Ford Bronco, from very simple and cheap to very complex and expensive.  Do you want a hot rod or just a better driving truck?  On the basic level a basic tuneup helps.  Change the air filter too.  For more complex methods, go online and use a search engine like Google or Yahoo to find any of the thousands of tuner shops out there.  They can get you a different chip for the engine, sell you a cold air intake system, or recommend any of several answers to your question.   Good luck from Bovan.

thks 4 the suggestions, I've 4 got to mention that i recently did tune-ups..oil,radator,filters.gas.oil.slightly improve the horse.but i'll try the chip ..thanks again for answering...
