Cobalt (2007) problems

Yes!! My cars dashboard would read 69 degrees F. Someone else said my car should be running at the temperature also. So no water pump?

Are you sure you are looking at the coolant temp? Is it the outside air temp that you see?

No water pump if the engine is running cool. Like FOR asked or pointed out, make sure you are looking at the engine temperature gauge. If so then the thermostat would need to be changed out so the engine can run at 195°F

Tell me tho, do you get hot heat out of the heater? And another thing, is that 69° in Celsius is 154° in Fahrenheit, which still would mean you need the thermostat changed. Check to see if the gauge is reading Fahrenheit, or Celsius.

I believe it was the car temperature only because the further and faster I drove the higher the temp would go but if I stopped the temperature would either go down or stay stagnant. It's in Celsius! Is changing the thermostat a expensive process

No it is not that expensive. But have a mechanic do it for you, so it is done right.
