Question type: General

I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt and it seems to
drive fine but takes longer to go into gear
than any other car I've had it don't jerk when
it goes into gear I've had it up to 80 mph and
no jerking. Does these Cobalt habe a
different shift pattern then most?

Shouldn't feel different than any other comparable car. Scan it for trouble codes. The problem, if there is one may be electronic in nature. After that have it checked out and serviced by a reputable transmission shop. If there's a problem its not going to go away on its own and the cost to repair it usually gets larger and larger the longer you ignore it. If there is no problem then you have peace of mind while driving and can just enjoy it.
