Sounds like you have the typical EGR/Oil cooler failure. If you have any warranty left the dealer is where I'd be heading, as long as you have a GOOD diesel tech that you can trust to do the job right.

if you don't have the warranty anymore. i've got a website that sells egr and oil coolers that are bulletproof. http://www.bulletproofdiesel.com
