im doing a v6 to v8 swap and changing the tranny to a 350 turbo on a 81 camaro. do you have to cut or get a new driveshaft to do this?

If it had a turbo 400 in it, it will have to be shorten if you put a long tail housing in it. 3 1/2 inchs If you but a short tail it will be close but would still have to messure. What trany did you have in it to start with?

measure the trans and it will tell you if you need a long or short tailshaft 350
