Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What is a good oil additive for a motor that the oil
rings are going bad an smoking alittle burning oil
other than replacing rings of course what could I add
to squeeze some more life out

1 Answer

I would try a heavier grade oil if you have not already, up to 20W-50. If you go to the auto parts store there is no shortage of oil additives that claim to help reduce oil consumption.
