locate your intake tube..  follow from filter box to the intake manifold and cheak for any vacumn leaks first.. is the "check engine" light on?  at idle a car can run with very little air and very little gas... here is a list of all compnents to check.  air filter(even just a dirty air filter can allow the car to idle but not accelerate), air flow sensor ( located on air filter box or intake tube. a faulty sensor can disrupt all drivability)  with your car being an audi it makes diagnosing so much harder.  let me know what u find with that list...

We have already changed the air flow meter and the throttle body. The vehicle throws the code P1544 which is manufacturer specific and reads :throttle actuation potentiometer signal too high.  Sounds like we put on a bad throttle body?
