Question type: Maintenance & Repair

her car doesn't like to start when its hot. it has a new battery in it. if its hot out or even warm about 78 degrees or higher and you drive for about 45 minutes to an hour then shut it off it will not restart.  All the electrical comes on but nothing happens.  Any suggestions?

Lot's of time if the starter has been replaced the heat shield doesn't get put back on. When the starter gets hot it will not turn the motor over completely until it cools. Check for heat shield missing. It is a good place to start.
