My 1998 mitsubishi 300gt dies when i let out the clutch and give it gas in first gear, but i can drive in reverse with no problem

That's weird... can you drive it out of second gear? The issue you describe sounds like a synchromesh failure...

Well it will drive smoothe in reverse but when i try to drive forward in first gear it will shut off...I triied driving down the street it started to go forward then it felt like the axle was bouncing up and down then it sputters and shuts off..now it just cranks...urrr SOS...
