You may qualify for what is called the Lemon law. It's a legal process that forces the dealer to buyback your vehicle and provide you another. Check online to get information on how to do this in your particular state and if you qualify.

so i emailed the attorney generals office and called them. They just called back & said it has to have 3 repairs for the same thing. So the fact that they didn't fix it the first time nor this time, there's only 1 actual repair. THat doesn't sound right to me. Per below, the 1st paragraph states 3 services or repairs not just repairs but then the 2nd paragraph says repairs....? Anyone know or have this experience? I copied & pasted the following from the attorney generals' webpage" " The law covers problems that occur during the first 12 months or 12,000 miles of ownership. The problem must substantially impair the value, use or safety of the vehicle. Each time you take your vehicle to the dealer for service or repair, the dealer must provide you with a copy of the repair invoice. The dealer must also notify the manufacturer that your vehicle has been brought in a second time for the same problem. As long as the first problem occurs during the first 12 months or 12,000 miles of ownership, you are covered for any subsequent problems occurring after that point. The law allows the manufacturer three repair attempts for the same problem. If the repairs are unsuccessful and the problem substantially impairs the value, use or safety of the vehicle, you may demand a refund or replacement vehicle. Also, if your car is at the dealership for any repairs for a cumulative total of thirty days during the first 12 months or 12,000 miles, you may demand a refund or replacement."

The Lemon Law varies from State to State. Visit carcomplaints.com, click on the Lemon Law tap, then scroll down to your State. You may also want to consult with an attorney about this. The fact that they were unable to fix it qualifies as an unsuccessful attempt at repair each time. Hope that helps! Jim
