How told recalibrate a mercury montego 2005

Need to know how to recalibrate the throttle body
on my car ton see if maybe that's the problem
before I have to go buy a whole new one

Take a jumper wire and put one side on the positive and the other side on the negative side of the battery. Make sure you have the negative side of the battery terminal not the battery post. In other words disconnect the neg terminal and hook the jumper wire to the terminal not the post. Leave this jumper wire on in this manner for twenty minutes. What this does is reset the entire ecm and your car will actually think its brand new. It will be about a day or less that the car will be retrained depending how much you drive it after this repair.
