Brakes affect radio stations

Our 2014 edge started doing an odd thing. The Sirius radio
station go into a shuffle and change everytime the brakes
are applied

Not sure this would be the problem, we had a new battery installed in January. Everything has been fine until just last week. No issues with the clock, just radio. While brakes are being applied, stations start 'scanning' until car comes to a stop, then it stays on the radio station last scanned.
