window switches

Asked by ronnv May 08, 2013 at 01:22 PM about the 1988 Buick Reatta

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My driver side window switch is weak. Mechanic feels its going out, and says they are obsolete. Im avoiding using it.  Does debris get it there and need cleaning, or: Can a new switch be ordered? Passenger window is fine.
