Asked by Autumnie Jun 13, 2017 at 10:17 PM about the 2013 Dodge Charger

Question type: General

I have a 2013 dodge charger pulled up to work
about a month ago went in to work for another four
hours then came out got in and tried to turn it on ,
all the lights came on and gauges moved but
wouldn't even try to turn on or over. After an hour
on trying to boost it, changing the battery in the key
fob, then pulling all the fuses and putting them
back, it finally started. Drove home with no
problems. Came back out an hour later and same
thing won't start all the lights and gauges work
even radio. So pulled all the fuses again and still
nothing. Battery is good. Its just been sitting there.
Anyone have any suggestions?

does it sound like its wanting to fire up or make any noise whatsoever when you hit the push button? If you have a remote start, does it do anything when trying it that way? You may have an ignition problem. I have a 2013 charger as well that I'm virtually top-to-bottom with knowledge but I've never ran into your issue with it...will try to help you further

No it makes no noise excpet the ding like the seatbeat and door chime. All the lights come on like it wants to get ready to start but thats it no sound from under the hood.

Does not have a remote start at all. And thank you for trying to help i dont know where to start.

Here's a start: -Starter solenoid faulty. -Starter assembly faulty. -Starter circuit problems, which include wiring, connections, ignition switch, safety neutral switch or clutch switch, and starter relay. I'd get a Meineke or local repair center to look at it to diagnose. With most things electrical, things can get real nasty if you try to DIY. I'd let a shop do it so if something isn't done right, they can back their work up.
