Car broke down in less then 24hrs

I bought a car from dealer and it broke down in less then 24
hrs then the dealer told me he replaced the battery I got off
work the car wouldn't even turn spent 4500 cash dealer
stated nothing could be done is this true

If you paid cash straight out then the car is sold as is.

Best bet would be to have it looked at by a shop or mechanic. Then determine if the dealer really did cover something up. You can then leave feedback on the purchase. On the used car page, search for Dealers (left side half way down). When you find the dealer, there is a 'Feedback' tab when you can rate the dealer and the transaction.
