How much would a break in your gas line cost if it is right above your gas tank. Can I drop it myself and repair it. Shop wants 300 bucks plus the part to do it.

1999 Isuzu trooper. I lost 3 quarters of a tank of gas in 8 minutes flat.

They probably have to drop the tank to make the repair which would run the cost up.

if you are at all famillar with tools then yes fix yourself.drop tank and replace fuel line.
