2013 Kia Optima electrical problem

Asked by Guru9CNX2L Jul 29, 2021 at 07:19 PM about the 2013 Kia Optima

Question type: General

I have a 2013 Kia Optima, the interior light bulbs were out in the back of the
car and as I replaced the bulb I tripped something. I found the fuse labeled
“10A Clock” that controls the interior lights; replaced it and now the car has
zero power. I preformed a battery test and it is near full in power. I checked to
see if the terminals were lose and they were fine. I also tested each individual
fuse in both the engine and in the cabin of the car. They all came back good.
The only thing that seems to have power is the passenger front seat and the
horn. Nothing else is working. Please help

Check the main fuse. When u say u tested the fuses and they r fine, check for voltage at each fuse not just to see if the link is broken inside the fuse. Also check the ground terminal connection from battery to chasis and all other ground wires from engine to chasis.
