What is the cost to replace timing chain?

Asked by SeaMe3 Apr 16, 2020 at 01:04 PM about the 2012 Hyundai Elantra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra with less than 43,000 miles. I was hearing a
noise and took it to the shop. They said it is an issue with the timing chain and
will cost between $3000 and $5000 to fix it. Does this sound reasonable?
