2000 but won't go over 2,000 rpm, will not communicate thru OBD II or manual attempts.

MEC12-075 A1 2926 engine ecu does not match vehicle. any charts out there for 2000 model g20 ecu's? Trunk says turbo, but NA engine under hood. Engine has apparently been swapped from turbo to NA engine along with matching ECU. ECU will not communicate thru OBD II or manual attempts. Idles, but won't go over 2000 rpm. Ran OK for a year, then this started. Would like to blame MAF sensor, but want to be able to at least pull codes first. Who's the master out there?

if youre not getting a scanner to not read the computer,the computer is dead.
