There is a strong gas smell in trunk mechanic at car lot can't find why. Can u help?

my guess will be the filler hose is leaking in the trunk. or the breather hose next to it.

Can you tell me how to access the filler hose? I'm a swf and have to repair this myself. Thank you so much.

it depends on what car it is, usually you can see it in the trunk on the same side where you usually fill the car with gas.

It could be coming from the fuel pump. There is an o ring that usually goes bad in cold weather or after replacing the pump it self Anther possibility is the charcoal canister
