they will not shut off.  we replaced the brake light switch and checked the wiring to them and still nothing

the switch may not be in the correct position, check the mounting point and how it contacts the brake pedal

    Every once in a while the brake indicator light comes on. When it does, I cannot accelerate and the car begins to shake really badly. All fluids are good. Any thoughts?
