What is your level or mechanical expertise? Work on cars? Working on brakes is not difficult but requires the correct tools, a level working space, a jack, jack stands, etc. Plus brakes are a safety item on a car and not completing the work properly can be dangerous. I suggest you check out some videos on youtube on the basics and for your specific vehicle as well.

It;s straight forward, and looking at a video of changing the brake pads should be enough if you have moderate skills and the tools, No special tools needed. However, I would suggest you also change the rotors along with the pads. You have to take note of the pad position on your 2010. If memory serves, one of the pads on the front, for each side, has what I refer to as "Mickey Mouse Ears" (two bumps on the top of the pads) These pads have to go in the same position as the old one's which were removed. I cannot remember if it is the outside pad or the inside pad, but the new pad with the ears has to go in the same place.
