new battery in car now headlights wont work and alarm goes off all the time keeps saying boot is open when its not please help

Hi Linda! It sounds like you are having electrical issues with your car. I would recommend if you can, have it towed to the nearest reputable repair shop or Ford Dealer. Because of the Security System with the car, after the batter is disconnected or removed the car needs to be recoded for the Starter, Master Computer (ECM), and keys to work. The Ford dealer should recode this at no cost to you. I hope this helps! Best of Luck!
