Where is the emergency gas relay on the 2010 Chevy cobalt?

Asked by Ashley Mar 31, 2020 at 04:53 PM about the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I drove over some train tracks and went to
accelerate and didn’t get any gas. I pulled
over and turned the car off and then it
wouldn’t turn back over.

GM doesn't use inertia fuel cutoff switches, so that's not the cause of your problem

I agree with RickMN. Examine the wiring to the fuel pump for something obvious. Listen for the fuel pump to run when you turn the key to the run position. Check the fuel pressure. If that all checks out OK then the problem lies elsewhere.
