vehicle over refs of cuts out

Good morning, I have a Chev Aveo 1.6 Sedan 2010 moedel with 80 000km
on on the clock. It has been for about two days now my car whilst driving will
cut out (the dash board light come on batt etc) it only happens when i apply
brakes, then when I am standing still and the car is idling it will either ref very
high about 3 - 4000 refs and just get stuck there - where as i then have to
switch the car of and restart (a few times) if you could assit me please

Im leaning towards your throttle body or throttle sensor.try giving the throttle body a good cleaning
