can you remove the jump start protector and leave it off

i bought a battery with pos and neg opposit mine can i bypass protector and
use this battery

DO NOT HOOK THE BATTERY UP WITH REVERSE POLARITY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Buy the correct battery.
