95 Honda Accord automatic. I recently bought it. Now, it wont turn over & start. It sounds like it wants to but then doesn't. Also recently, water or liquid is coming out of passenger side floor area, sometimes driver side too. Now the whole floor is basically wet The not starting just started happening. Sometimes, it will start but now it hasnt. I do NOT have money to fix it...hence, just bought it with my last $800. ANY help will be appreciated!!

Thanks fir answering! BUT, I think it may be a faulty main relay switch which controls power to fuel pump & fuel injectors. The older relay switch can get 'cracks' in it and when its hot weather outside, the cracks expand causing the car not to turn over. However, if its cooler out, that car will turn over!! I have tested this notion and it is SPOT ON!! CRAZY RIGHT?? The main relay switch is under steering wheel, now I just need a mechanic to check this out. Umm, yes, I know it costs money to own a car...i guess youve had a great life and never suffered unbelievable circumstance...lucky you! I use to have EVERYTHING, then (my) life happens. Im just trying to overcome this, hopefully, crappy time! Thanks again for answering. Be thankful for what you have, everyday my friend. Oh, the leaking thing is on hold until i can get my car running. Been without a car over a month. I have walk to work (lost my better job cuz no working car) plus I am disabled!! Life is GRAND!

I too just bought a 95 Honda Accord EX Automatic. Within two weeks, I was running errands and when I turned a corner, I heard liquid sloshing behind the glove box. It was a hot day and eventually I saw water leaking out from under the glove box. There is a condensate drain that is under the passenger's side dash near the middle and attached to a black box. When I pulled the tube out to clean it, a fair amount of condensation poured out onto the floor. I was told that due to the design at that time, they easily got clogged with debris. The next day, I went to start up to go to work and it was turning, but would not engage fully to start the car. Now, I am being told that my main fuel pump relay was going bad. Since that can be an inexpensive repair, I plan to change it out this week. Most parts suppliers don't take returns on electrical components, so see about running a few simple tests that help confirm that. Best of luck to you Christina.
