Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had two actuators replaced in my 2009
impala.
Car is still clicking when AC used, open front
doors and even when car is turn off.
Why is it still making a noise....what do I do
now?

I have a similar issue with my 06. Anytime we change the temp controls the car starts clicking, it also continues when we turn the car off. The heat and air both work but the noise is getting more frequent and lasting longer. Any suggestions?

I need this answer for a 2011. I've replaced 2 actuators already.

Mine does the same. Is there any position of air that will stop it?

Yes. Unplug them and push the vent door open from inside the glove box (passenger side). Problem solved. I've had mine replaced 3 times -most recent was 2 months ago and now that same one is jacked up again. . Easier to DIY unplug than keep replacing.

Is there a video or instructions somewhere on how to unplug them? I've replaced on through the glove box and somewhere under the dash. Now the ticking has begun again. Not for sure where the third one is located. But if you're saying it will keep happening I would rather unplug. I have a 2012 Chevy Impala.
