Is there a way to replace the heater hose that runs from the heater core behind the engine (along the block) of a 1989 lincon town car without removing the manifold?

oh sure! it's usually a 5/8" hose runs from the firewall to the port. maybe 2 or 3 bucks at the parts store! or go to junk yard and and get one off a LTC there, too, for a buck. there usually is 2 or 3 LTC's when I go to junker. good luck... it' s a bit warm out for a heater core project I must say.
