i have a 87 licon town car it will crank but wont start i had replace the inition coil distributor wires and spark plugs i checked and thare geting electricity and i pushed the little valve stem thing

it squirts gas so im lost oh it did start once r i did all the electrical and it ran grate but after i turnd it off it wouldnt start again

When you turn the key to on, but not start the engine, do you hear the fuel pump priming for a couple seconds? If not, the I'd say your pump is going south, sometime it will work, sometimes not. If you swap it out, do the filter as well.

yeah i can hear the fule pump and i can get gas out of the fule rails by pushing on that valve stem :( could it be my ignition switch or would that make it not turn over at all?
