How to start after running out of gas and putting singe gas into gas tank

Ran out of gas and put about 2 gal into gas tank.
How do I start the vehicle?

Let the fuel pump prime first, before you try and start. Turn the ignition to the on position, you should hear the pump, high pitch sound.
