1994 dodge shadow sometimes dies and eventually will not start

car will run but not for long, noticed the check engine lite flashes 3 x then 5 x then 5 more times what code, or problem do i have?

The code means there is an ignition circuit failure. could be ignition coil, plug wires, spark plugs, or any combination of the 3.
