HELP NEED ANSWERS MACANIC STUMPED !!!!!!!!!!!!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

CAR WON'T IDEL SMELL GAS SOMETHING AWFUL AND WE REPLACE MAP & OXGEN SENSOR AND COMPUTER. NOW MACANIC SAYS WE ARE  NOT GETTING ANY INTAKE VACUME BUT REALLY GOOD COMPRESSION.
HAVE STUP LOTS OF GUYS OVER THIS ONE. ANY IDEAS

Your intake manifold gasket may be blown. You don't mention what engine is in your Caravan but I would suggest taking it to a Dodge dealer who will attach it to their DRB-II scan tool, which has more information than regular OBD-II scan tools when it comes to Chrysler/Dodge products. A diagnostic should only run you $60-80 and they will be able to tell you exactly what is wrong. Sounds like your mechanic is shooting in the dark.
