Dodge stratus 1998

Car runs but needs a bottom end. Engine is knocking... Has
new fuel pump, a lot of good parts  Tranny shifts great...
Has 140,××× miles. Do I can't fix it or is spend much money
?

Depending on what size engine is in there, a re-manufactured engine runs from about $2300 to $3500, then you have the labor cost and incidentals of putting it in. It would be cheaper to have the lower end bearings replaced if the rest of the engine is in good shape.
